Winners’ biographies:
Gina Kiel is an illustrator based in Wellington the Capital of New Zealand, and she has the ability to wield both traditional and digital media in order to create impressive work across a seemingly impossible range of styles.
‘I grew up in a small seaside town, just out of Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. My family are a talented bunch of artists, musicians, writers and actors. I did art all through school (even in Maths class) then worked at a Boutique animation studio before becoming a professional picture drawer. I hope I will always create art no matter what I do or no matter where I go.’ – Gina Kiel
Creative director Harry A’Court established Inject Design in 2002. Having graduated from design school and freelancing as a designer in NZ and offshore, he quickly recognised a gap in the market for young designers. Inject Design was set up to provide an arena for up and coming talent to work on inspiring projects, expressing themselves creatively within a supportive environment without being typecast into inferior roles. In 2005 Inject was profiled as one of NZ’s top creative companies in a touring exhibition curated by The Dowse Art Museum. Since then Harry has been building solid relationships with a wide range of inspiring brands and his highly regarded team continues to grow alongside their faithful clients.
